Course overview
The course provides the skills to accurately diagnose defects, set alarm limits, understand time and phase analyzes as well as analyzer parameters, and correctly configure a vibration measurement.
The aim of the course is to be able to introduce a predictive control program and be able to correctly configure the vibration measurements in the plant.
Course contents
- Overview of the different maintenance concepts
- Presentation of predictive maintenance and its techniques
- Fundamentals of theory underlying vibration analysis
- How to analyze spectra, time waves, modulations and phase measurements
- Fault diagnostics: unbalance, misalignment, play, bearing defects, resonance, cavitation
- Detection of electrical problems with spectral analysis of currents and magnetic fields
- How to collect good and repeatable measurements over time
- How to set alarm thresholds
- Practical session with use of the equipment
Length: blended course of 5 days (to which autonomous training or e-learning on demand is added).
Price: € 2100,00 + VAT (training) + € 450,00 + VAT (exam for the ISO 18436-2 certification)
Access to the exam is subject to possession of the minimum requirements in terms of experience and training, as required by ISO 18436.
